Dr. Terri Pickering joined the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco in 2001. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco after earning her medical degree from Harvard University Medical School. She returned to San Francisco after completing her glaucoma fellowship at the University of Southern California-Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles in 1999. She is currently a Clinical Instructor at California Pacific Medical Center and has been an EyeCare America volunteer physician since 2001.

Dr. Pickering's clinical interests include selective laser trabeculoplasty, drainage devices, and ocular imaging for glaucoma. Because 4 million Americans have glaucoma but only half know it, Dr. Pickering believes community outreach in high-risk populations is key to stopping this blinding disease.
